Brief Biography
Yi Zhong is an associate professor with Huazhong University of Science & Technology. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in the Wireless Networks and Decision Systems (WNDS) Group led by Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC, 中国科大) in 2010 and 2015 respectively. From August to December 2012, he was a visiting student in Prof. Martin Haenggi's group at University of Notre Dame. From July to October 2013, he worked as an intern in Qualcomm, Corporate Research and Development, Beijing. His main research interests include heterogeneous and femtocell-overlaid cellular networks, wireless ad hoc networks, stochastic geometry and point process theory.
